Looking back from the present perspective, I see that my life history has prepared me for my absolute dedication to promote and make Focusing available to people via two major routes:

teaching and video productions

I discovered Focusing after my formal education was complete. My first degree, in Physical Education is from my home country, Croatia. After moving to my present home, in Canada, I graduated with a B.A. in Theology.

My body, mind and spirit were cultivated by valuable inner and outer resources to appreciate the gift of Focusing:

-As a gymnast, with competitive experience on the national team
-As a High School teacher in Phys.Ed., Mathematics, and Religion
-Mediation/Conflict resolution training
-Interest and activity in multimedia art
-Adaptation to cultural and linguistic diversities from living on 3 continen

Introduction and training by Fr. Ed McMahon and Fr. Peter Campbell in BioSpiritual Focusing, was a deeply influential initiation into the worldof Focusing. My spiritual reality became grounded through linking the experience of "felt sensing" with a transcendent presence

Further training from Dr. Eugene Gendlin and the Focusing Institute has enriched my understanding of the Focusing process, and qualified me to be a Coordinator and Trainer. This is only a small portion of my learning experience. Many hours of filming, editing and producing Focusing videotapes has provided me with abundant opportunities for interaction and deepening with Gene's extraordinary gift.

The recent development of "Thinking at the Edge" (TAE) has brought an exciting new growth in my professional life. I have been closely involved in the project of shaping and making TAE available to the public. We videotaped all TAE workshops. Two have been edited and produced - one is in English and one in German. Latest video "14 Steps of TAE" is presently in production.
In my teaching of Focusing, I highlight Gene's philosophical ideas and in this way awake the interest for the wonderful complexity that TAE is capable to draw. I teach TAE on individual basis, and am preparing to give TAE workshops in the near future

As Coordinator, I offer Focusing Trainer Certification Program. I give workshops internationally and as a result, many interested Focusers, who wish to work with me on their Certification, are also at international locations. I introduce new Trainees to the program during my visits to their country, and continue Distance Training via e-mail, phone and correspondence.

I use the opportunity at International Conferences, Workshops and Focusing gatherings to videotape presenters. This gives me footage to produce instructional/educational videotapes for the Focusing community. These videotapes became popular around the world and have helped popularize Focusing in a major way.
