INTRODUCING NADA LOU
Nada Lou is well known throughout the Focusing world through her videos that have brought the teaching of Gene Gendlin, Peter Campbell and Ed McMahon, and other Focusing luminaries into our homes and offices.
She is also one of the most well known Focusing teachers in her own right, with a double specialty in Thinking at the Edge (TAE) and BioSpiritual Focusing.
Immersing herself in Gendlin’s thinking by videotaping and participating in all of his Thinking at the Edge workshops has made Nada one of the world’s experts in TAE. In recent years she co-presented TAE workshop with Dr. Gendlin and is in the forefront of spreading this new practice around the world.
A teacher by profession, Nada has given many Focusing and TAE Levels Workshops in her home country of Canada, as well as internationally including Australia, US, Europe,South America, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
Author of the recently published "Grassroots Introduction Manual to TAE", Nada has the ability to gently and patiently nurture each person’s ‘thinking edge’, guiding them at every step.
In recent years Nada has developed many new programs: The Body's Search for Spirit a BioSpiritual approach to Focusing;
Thinking Freshly from Experiencing; Focusing for Negotiation – Mediation;
Listening and Communicating for everyday life-A Focusing/TAE approach;
Focusing and Dreams;
POI reading and discussing.
Nada is a Focusing Institute Coordinator certified to train those wishing to teach Focusing/TAE and Trainers who wish to become Coordinators.
