Level One- Introductory
Level One is designed for people who have very little or no experience with TAE. It is also designed for people who are beginners in learning Focusing. Level One is a prerequisite for Level Two. You will have an adequate amount of time to practice and soundly ground yourself in both TAE and Focusing practices. You will also discover how drawing on the felt sense differs for the purposes of Focusing or TAE. Thinking from the felt sense is different from customary thinking. You will learn how to think in this new way. We will explore some of Dr. Gendlin's philosophical concepts so as to have a supportive cradle for further exploration. You will learn how to scan through your interests and activities to find what you would like to say and haven't previously had the words for saying, from your felt sense. You will be introduced to cooperative utilitarian TAE partnership and enjoy its benefits. An overview of what this new and elaborate practice can offer will be shown with a listing of Phases and Steps. You will work on your personal "project" with your partner and learn different methods of how to dialogue between your felt sense and thinking.
Level Two Prerequisite Level One Exception: a previous TAE workshop with Nada or equivalent. This exception will be determined during the Individual Preliminary 1 hour session with Nada In Level Two you will be learning many movements, elements, components and features necessary to achieve and carry out work on your own project. Out of a personal experience that is calling for your attention, you will be able to explicate the essence of meaning from which you can build, write and talk about it in a credible and grounded manner. Being able to sense what is more than logical in your own work, you will learn that such paradox is a promise from which there is always more that can be generated.
Level Three Prerequisite Level Two with Nada With the features learned in Levels One and Two, you will test your proficiency by using some or all of these tools in a quick, skillful, consistently accessible manner for daily living and work. We will then proceed to expand the richness of TAE practice towards building blocks for 'concepts' creation'. The wisdom with which many original thinkers might have impressed you will be accessible to you too, from your own wisdom pool. You will discover patterns of your daily life and subsequently felt sensing patterns. These patterns will provide for you a totally new and exciting way to see and think from your unique perspective. Many of Gendlin's philosophical concepts will support and enlighten your own exploration for creativity. By searching for associations between different patterns, you will learn how 'crossing' provides you with more access to your awareness.
Level Four Prerequisite Level 3 with Nada With the experience practiced in previous levels, you will first test your adeptness by creating a new project and using all movements available to you so far, until you feel at ease and comfortable with them. For those who are interested in Theory Building and Logic, Level Four will also be an opportunity to learn the terminology and function of Theory Building methods. In a playful manner, you will be able to chose terms, find inherency, experiment with the ways to link the terms, and much more.
Level Five Prerequisite Level 4 with Nada Level Five is offered ONE-on-ONE only and will consist of building your own theory utilizing TAE steps 1-14. |
* By the end of Level One sessions you will have a firm grip on what TAE is about, how to work in TAE Partnership, a taste of your own "project", and a way of how to think and speak from your own experiencing.
* By learning how to break the language barrier between "public" words and the language coming from your felt sense, you will be able to speak, write, negotiate, think and communicate out of your own resources that until now have been silent and untapped.
* At the end of Level Three you will be able to write, present and discuss larger proposals and projects. Your negotiating skills will have improved because you will be able to act from a confident and deeply personal knowledge.
* This Level is a delicate preparation for the more serious work offered in Level 5.
* At the end of the Five Levels a Certificate of TAE Proficiency will be granted. |
