May
the Road (take you inside)
by Goran Petrovic © 1999
Hey, Hey where you think you're headed?
We've just begun, forever takes its time
Only here together for a while
I wish you well, and never otherwise
CHORUS
May the road take you inside
Turn you otherwise, never turn you down
Always flowing, Onward going
You'll never take a road without a soul
Crowded rooms of people here and there
Put a happy face on sadness and despair
But you have made a difference
The least expected path, has got me there
CHORUS
When we're miles away, I'll treasure
what we shared
Never will I look back with regret
I know with the turns of the winding
road ahead
The courage to go on is coming yet
What it all comes down to
Your smile, your face, your friendship
and your grace
So with handkerchiefs and handshakes, farewell
But not too long, to wait for an embrace
LAST CHORUS
May the road, take you sideways
Turn you upside down, graces are a roll
Always flowing, Onward going
You'll never take a road without a soul
CHORUS
